OUR STORY

Why we build the way we build.

We founded FileSpin in 2017 with a conviction: enterprises needed media infrastructure, not another application. API-first from day one. Profitable without external funding. Built in production alongside customers in e-commerce, events, attractions, and media — where media operations are a revenue function, not a marketing exercise. Today, FileSpin is the infrastructure layer where AI agents live and operate, executing complex media workflows autonomously. No venture funding. No growth-at-all-costs playbook. Just infrastructure that works.

2017

Foundation

Started with a simple conviction: enterprises needed media infrastructure, not another application. Built API-first from day one — designed to plug into how production operations actually work, not to sit on top of them. First enterprise customer partnership established in year one.

2018

First Verticals

Expanded into e-commerce and media. First major retail customer deployed FileSpin at production scale — high-volume asset operations, zero tolerance for downtime. Proved the infrastructure model worked outside the founding use case. Profitable from day one, with no external funding required.

2021

Events & Attractions

Entered the events and attractions space — environments where media operations run at high volume, on strict timelines, with zero room for infrastructure failure. Deployed at scale across major events and guest experience venues. The operational demands of these verticals defined the next phase of the platform.

2025

Teleport

Launched Teleport — FileSpin’s edge processing layer for operations where internet is unreliable, expensive, or prohibited. Full DAM processing runs locally at sub-10ms latency. Cloud capabilities activate when connected, full automation after sync. Same platform, any environment.

2026

Autonomous Operations

Autonomous operations via AI agents and workflow integrations. AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) execute complex media workflows through natural language — no manual intervention. Native integrations with Make, Zapier, and n8n connect media operations to the broader business stack. Ingest to distribution, end-to-end, without a human in the loop.
